Infrared waterproof cameras can be used below decks to monitor engine rooms and other void spaces where no illumination is possible. Cameras can be housed in a waterproof case with heaters and a fan to counteract overheating or freezing in extreme weather conditions. This also adds to the durability, whatever the condition of the sea. Underwater cameras are available and can be added to the system to check stern gear etc. The “Multi-view” controls the complete system, and allows for 8 camera inputs and four monitor outputs. All come with ‘plug and play’ leads. Therefore giving a versatile upgradeable system. The “Digi-view” system gives the option of viewing multiple cameras on one screen. The “Digi-view” comes as a computer based package with hard drive capability for recording images and providing remote access from other computers anywhere in the world.
